Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I need to keep my batteries off of the concrete floor? I heard they discharge when on concrete?

A. Yes you can store your batteries on the concrete floor. This will not cause your battery to discharge faster or hurt it.

Q. I have a bunch of batteries from flashlights. Where do I recycle them?

A. Any non-rechargable battery sold in the US today can simply be disposed of in your regular trash. There is nothing to recycle and they will not harm landfills. All rechargable batteries do require being recycled.

Q. Can I charge my Lith-ion or Lithium Poly batteries with my Ni-Cad charger?

A. Absolutely NOT !!!!! The charger for those batteries are quite different than the ones for Ni-Cad or NiMH. You could damage the batteries or even cause them to explode.

Q. How and where should I store my extra Eveready batteries?

A. A great place to store them is in your refrigerator. The cooler temp will allow longer storage of the batteries.
